Ugandans have been tasked to appreciate the milestone achieved in the country’s Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) sector for more progress. 

“We need Ugandans to come on board and appreciate these innovations. The future is here,” said Hon. Monica Musenero, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation.

It was an insightful evening at the State House Investors Protection Unit (SHIPU) as we hosted the Hon. Norbert Mao, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs. His visit provided a valuable platform for strategic dialogue on strengthening Uganda’s legal framework to foster a more secure and attractive environment for investors.

The Head of the State House Investors Protection Unit (SHIPU), Col. Edith Nakalema has today met and held fruitful discussions with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Uganda, Her Excellency Frederieke Quispel. 

The State House Investors Protection Unit (SHIPU) hosted a high-level courtesy call from representatives of Patel Infrastructure Limited, a renowned Indian infrastructure development company, on a mission to explore investment opportunities in Uganda’s green energy sector. The delegation was led by Mr. Krunal Arvindbhai Patel, Director Strategic Business Development, and Mr. Nitin R.

Despite other countries where tourism tends to come to a standstill due to election orchestrated violence, Col. Nakalema says the case will be different for Uganda, therefore encouraging more tourists to continue planning to visit the country.

Today at SHIPU, we successfully mediated a dispute between Mr. Gibbs Kibwola and Mr. Farouk Kisambira, an indigenous investor in real estate development.
